Monolith is Despite the Monkey’s first interactive installation.

Inspired by the geographical structure of the same name, Monolith represents the fusion of fantasy and reality.

An experience that can jump easily from science-fiction to fairy tale, this is an installation aimed at marvelling and engaging with families on both a sensory and emotional level.

Each Monolith is a surreal marvel fusing visuals and sound, offering the effect of a tangible mirage that you can reach out and touch.

Their flexibility is key, with Monolith being able to change and evolve at a whim, it encourages multiple visitations with a new, unique experience upon every engagement.

Monolith used Audio and environmental sensors to react in real time to its audience.
